Mid Century Desk Fan

9 Aug

Vintage Mid Century desk fan made by the Hunter Division of Robbins Myers. Very high quality vintage fan made In Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950s. This fan has large 16″ “pizza slice” blades. In original unrestored condition, black paint with nice patina. Please see all photos and realize this is an unrestored “barn find” and does have minor surface rust, chipping and patina.

The fan is in perfect working order, runs great, and operates smoothly in all speeds, and oscillates perfectly. Power cord had been replaced at some point and is in perfect, safe condition.

Any questions, please ask.

Antique Metal Fan / Art Deco

3 Jun

Found another small art deco metal fan the other day. This one’s made by Kenmore. It’s currently a little grungy from sitting in an old building forever. Going to get cleaned up and rewired this week. Maybe some paint for a change and be available for sale soon.

1930s Art Deco Brass Fan

2 Mar

As promised, here are some detailed pics of the 1930s GE brass blade fan. I’ve gone through and cleaned 20 years of dirt and grime and given the blades a light polish. I’ve kept the internal cloth wiring, but replaced the power cord. It works great. All three speeds. High speed will blow you out of the room! This one is for sale in the shop and on ETSY. SOLD!
