Rustic Industrial Pendant Lights

23 May

leafspring 3leafspring 2leafspring 5

One of a kind hanging pendant light fixture featuring three vintage reproduction industrial cage lights. Three cage lights styled after trouble lights used in the 20s-40s, are made of brass wire, and are hinged to open or close as desired, depending on what look you prefer, and for bulb removal. They fit around new black sockets and are wired with vintage style black cloth covered twisted wire. They use two different styles of reproduction Edison bulbs, one with “squirrel cage” filaments and two round bulbs with spiral filaments. All three lights are suspended from a vintage leaf spring removed from my 1954 GMC pickup and was left with its original patina.

Included with the light are three bulbs and canopy for mounting to and existing box in the ceiling.

Size: Approx 30″ long. Wire from leaf spring to ceiling can be cut to desired length, but comes with approx. 24″ of wire.

Available in our Etsy shop, here.

Thanks for Looking!

Industrial Style Work Light Ceiling Fixture

29 Aug

This is a one off industrial style light fixture made from black iron pipe fittings and upcycled 6″ aluminum work lights. Designed to be hardwired into a standard ceiling box by a professional if necessary. Depending on preference, it can be mounted directly to ceiling or used with a canopy to hang lower to a desired height.

Each lamp features a push switch so they can be turned on or off individually. Cool industrial, machine age design makes for a great conversation piece anywhere in your home. Bathroom, over a kitchen sink or island, even over a bar or pool table.

This is an easy install for most folks or handymen, but as stated above, may require professional installation based on your skillset.

Repurposed Model T Ford Pendant Light

20 Feb

Pendant light made from a nearly 100 year old side marker light from a Model T Ford. These were used on Model T Fords in the mid to late teens. I believe these burned oil or kerosene for light, it’s been converted to accept a standard candelabra base bulb. The lamp body is in all original condition, original glass (one pane has a crack halfway through, but it’s still solid and intact) and very nice patina. This is a genuine barn find where and had been stored for 30 plus years. It’s been cleaned up, but not restored. As you can see in photos, there are two clear glass windows, one of which is hinged and opens to allow replacement of the bulb. One side, has a small round window with red glass and the back side is solid.

This will make a nice accent piece for your den or bar area. The light is prewired with 12′ of cord, standard plug and an inline switch. Designed to plug in for use as a swag lamp. Can also be hardwire into a ceiling box if desired or used as a table top lamp. Available in our Etsy shop. $125.
