Repurposed Wrought Iron Table

2 Aug

I picked up this piece of rusty gold at an estate sale recently. Really old and really rusty wrought iron folding stand. Not sure of its origin, but its pretty ornate. Flower details on the pivot points where the frame folds up. Was missing whatever used to be the surface. I brought it home gave it a few coats of white paint. I had a left of piece of nice hardwood that I had used recently on a coffee table. You may remember, it’s some kind of exotic hardwood that was used as a pier plank that my dad had planed down about 30 years ago. Sanded it up, stained and sealed it. It fit perfect. This piece would make a cool accent table in the house or a perfect plant stand on your patio. The wood has withstood years and years of abuse so it will last for many more years. $40
